What if, I doodled this in a notebook in Chamonix, France before lining up my first trail race in Europe. There were so many 'what ifs' going through my mind; I almost talked myself out of standing at the start. However, I stood at the start line in a tiny village and began to run, and it turned out to be one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. I felt stronger than I could have ever hoped for and ran trails that were so different from any I had run before. The 'what if' became 'I can'.
