I drew this drawing during a time when the Watsonias where flowering at the base of Table Mountain. Which signifies a floral explosion into a new season in the city of Cape Town. If you have ever spent time on table mountain, you know the pink shade means the year is slowly/ rapidly coming to an end.
It is definitely a time of celebration, but also a tricky time for many people. During this season I felt the need to hold onto the idea of kindness towards ourselves & others.
